02 System Requirements for SafeCentral for MacOS

The minimum system requirements to install SafeCental for MacOS are:

Operating System Version	MacOS 10.15 or higher
Processor	1.0GHz or better
Memory/RAM	2GB and above
Hard Disk Space	<10MB

03 Using SafeCentral for MacOS

Once installed and activated, SafeCentral will run in the background to keep you safe online.

You do not need to do anything further after you see this screen:

There are two ways which you can launch/open SafeCentral for MacOS:

Click the SafeCentral for AOL icon in the upper right corner of the screen and select Open:
Open SafeCentral for AOL from the Applications:

04 Uninstalling SafeCentral for MacOS

The following steps will help you uninstall SafeCentral for MacOS.

From the menu, select Quit SafeCentral for AOL:
Open Finder and go to Applications:
Right click SafeCentral for AOL and select Move to Bin:
SafeCentral is now uninstalled.

05 Installing SafeCentral for MacOS

The following steps will help you install SafeCentral for MacOS.

Sign in to My Account
Click My Services | Subscriptions
Locate SafeCentral and click Manage which will load your SafeCentral Dashboard:
Within Protect This Device, click Protect This Computer which will prompt you and download the application file to your computer.
Click on the application file to open SafeCentral installer window then drag the SafeCentral for AOL icon to the Applications folder:
Open SafeCentral for AOL from Applications:
On the following screen, click Open:
Click Open Security Preferences:
Click Open System Settings:
Under Privacy & Security, click Allow for SafeCentral for AOL:
Enter your computer’s username and password then click Modify Settings to authorize the changes:
Click Allow on the following screen:
In order to activate the product, you’ll need to enter the email address and password you used to subscribe to SafeCentral. Click Get Started to proceed:
Enter your email address then click Send Email:
Once the email is sent, check your email (check the spam folder). The email subject is “Sign in to SafeCentral for AOL” :
Open the email and click on the link to Sign in to SafeCentral for AOL:
Click on Open app Open SafeCentral for AOL, SafeCentral will then show that you are protected and you are all set, SafeCentral will run in the background to keep you protected
